Welcome! 🎉 Whether you're new to crypto or an experienced investor, Ledger™ Live is the easiest and safest way to manage your digital assets. It’s the official app used with Ledger hardware wallets like Nano X, Nano S Plus, and Ledger Stax.

Step 1: Download Ledger Live 📥

Start by downloading Ledger Live from the official site:

Visit ledger.com/ledger-live
Select your platform: Windows, macOS, Linux, Android or iOS
Follow the installer instructions
Launch Ledger Live ✅

Always verify the site URL to avoid fake downloads or phishing scams.

Step 2: Set Up Your Ledger Device 🔐

Connect your Ledger Nano device to your computer or phone. You’ll be guided through:

Choosing a secure PIN code
Writing down your 24-word recovery phrase (this is your backup!)
Confirming your recovery phrase

📝 Write your 24 words on the recovery sheet provided. Keep it offline. Never store it digitally!

Step 3: Initialize with Ledger Live 🧩

Once the device is set up:

Open Ledger Live
Click “Get Started” → “Set up a new device”
Follow on-screen prompts to connect your Ledger
Choose the cryptocurrencies you want to manage

Step 4: Install Apps and Add Accounts 🌐

Each crypto asset needs an “app” on your Ledger. To install:

Go to “Manager” tab in Ledger Live

Then go to “Accounts” → “Add Account”

Step 5: Receive Crypto Safely 📥

Go to “Receive” tab
Choose your asset (e.g. Ethereum)
Connect your Ledger device and verify the receiving address
Copy or scan the address and send it to the sender

Step 6: Send Crypto Securely 💸

Click “Send”
Enter the recipient’s address
Enter amount and fee
Confirm the transaction on your Ledger device
